Privacy Policy

This Privacy Policy describes what information Stilez (“we”, “us”, “our”) collects when you use the Stilez iOS app, how we use it, and the choices you have. By using Stilez, you agree to the practices described here.

1. Information we collect

Apple Sign-In data. When you sign in with Apple, we receive your email and name as you choose to share them. Apple lets you provide a private relay email rather than your real address.
Username. A name you choose during onboarding.
Photos of outfits and clothing items. Images you upload from your camera or photo library, used to generate AI outfit ratings and styling suggestions.
Onboarding survey responses. Non-sensitive information about how you found Stilez, the size of your closet, your style preferences, and your goals.
Subscription and billing state. Your subscription status, managed entirely by Apple In-App Purchase. Stilez does not see or handle your payment card details.
Apple sub identifier. A stable per-user-per-app token provided by Apple Sign-In. We store this to prevent abuse of free trials through repeated account deletion and recreation.

2. How we use your information

To generate AI-powered outfit ratings and styling suggestions.
To maintain your saved closet, past fits, badges, and improvement ideas.
To personalize feature suggestions based on your closet contents.
To authenticate you across sessions.
To enforce free-trial scan limits and premium subscription state.

3. Third-party processors

Stilez uses the following service providers to operate the app. Each receives only the data necessary for its function.

Anthropic (Claude API). Outfit images and text descriptions are sent to Anthropic for AI processing. Anthropic does not train on API data by default.
Supabase. Backend Postgres database, authentication, and edge functions.
Photoroom. Clothing-item images are sent for background removal and cleanup.
Apple. Sign in with Apple, In-App Purchase, and related system services.

4. Storage and retention

Most of your data — closet items, past fits, ideas, and badges — is stored on your device. Uninstalling the app or deleting your account removes it.
Profile data (username, Apple sub identifier, premium status) is stored on Supabase.
When you delete your account, your profile is soft-deleted (a deletion timestamp is set), your auth sessions are revoked, and your server-side data is marked inaccessible.
Outfit images sent to Anthropic for analysis are not retained by the Stilez server beyond the request.

5. Your rights and choices

Delete your account in-app. Open Settings → Delete Account.
Contact us. Email support@stilez.app for any data request, including access, correction, or deletion.

6. Children

Stilez is not directed at children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you believe a child has provided us information, contact support@stilez.app and we will delete it.

7. Changes to this policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. If we make material changes, we will notify you within the app. Continued use of Stilez after an update means you accept the revised policy.
